i have had a carousel up and running for some time now some lines have appeared and i can seem to find out how this is happening. i have made a new page changed the pics removed the lightbox and played with the setting in the carousel and nothing seems to take the lines out see pic below

This problem with HTML code around the carousel. It seems it was added by a WYSIWYG editor. Open article edit page and remove <PRE> and </PRE> tags around the carousel.

what does the <per> </pre> code do? and why did it just show up? i never had this issue until i added the second carousel on another page

It is unnecessary HTML tags which were added by WYSIWYG editor.
