ARI Cloud Carousel tutorial needed ! 11 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi All,
I am using Joomla 3.2 and I installed the ARI Cloud Carousel extension and since my English is little, I would need to get some tutorial to learn to configure it in Joomla 3.2, for it, Could anybody let me get some of it?
On the other hand and like I do not know if it Joomla 3.2 compatible. Does anybody to try it with this Joomla version?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

The extension is compatible with Joomla! 3.2. Documentation is available in "Description" section on module section on module settings page.

PS: Set "Load jQuery method" parameter in module settings to "Local copy" value.

Hello ARI Support
Fist, thanks for your answer.
On the other hand and sorry for my little English but I am sure if I understood this topic

"Place each path to image folder on new line in 'Image path' textarea. Joomla! root directory will be used as root path for this folders. It means that if you want to show images from [joomla_dir]/images/slides folder, type in 'Image path' parameter the following value images/slides"

Since I am using a Joomla template named Lumiere for it and according the paragraph above, Should I create a folder named slides?
On the other and if my "images" folder path in my hosting is:

/www/templates/rt_lumiere/images

Should I add in "Image path" textarea this path?

"/www/templates/rt_lumiere/images/slides"

Hope you can understand what I try to say you.
Thanks and sorry for my little English....

If you want to show images from <joomla_directory>/templates/rt_lumiere/images/slides folder, set "Image path" parameter to the following value:

templates/rt_lumiere/images/slides

You can create several instances of the module and use different images path(s) and assign it to different module positions. You can read how to create module instances here.

The module is integrated with ARI Sexy Lightbox extension on our demo site to show images into the lightbox.
