Apologies for not being able to follow the thread, because I had to step out of the office. The web address that you send this online but only to review by the customer. We are working on a local version is here where the car width parameter is disabled if we do well. I send you a screenshot just to enjoin me if we do well.
If so and this is the field where you have to disable the automatic width, that is already done in the local version and we still can set the table width to our liking. It's a shame because we were excited about your product, but is costing us a lot of power to customize it, probably because of us do not know well.
Precisely for this reason I relate a series of questions to see if with your help we can make it work to our liking.

1.-It is necessary to reset the width for all columns, or if we do it in the other fit the full width of the table.
2.-When the panel Ari joomla Data Tables enter the parameters of sizes as we have to do if we want to see pixels, you just have to put the number or this company should go to the (px) for example: ( 90px - 90px; - 90 px or only 90)
3.-The width of the table is the default percentages to 100%, we can put it in pixels.
4.-The (id) of the tables in addition to the number for each column could be the headers of each in text mode.
5.-That is the alias
6.-For field exactly does CSS styles columns below settings if the application and gives me a css class for each of the columns
7.-For to change the number of records to display 10 to 50, for instance the last column is not displayed well.

In short we are a little frustrated because we did not find an alternative to yours, we look more attractive, functional and easy to perform these tasks congigurar but do not get it to work well, probably our fault. But perhaps are in need of a little more documentation on the configuration of the module, albeit in English which is not fluent in either language as I write from Spain.

Anyway, thank you very much for your kindness and prompt reply.

Hello,

Regarding your questions:

1. If column width is not defined, it will be calculated by a browser.

2. If you enter just number (for example 90), it will be convert to 90px on frontend, but you can enter 90px or 10%. These values are correct.

3. Yes, set it to 450px for example.

4. Could you explain in more details what you mean or provide example?

5. "Alias" is used when you want to rename column on frontend, for example column in CSV file has name "COL_1", but you want to rename it to "First Name" on frontend that alias can be used.

6. If "Advanced styling" parameter is set to "Yes", each column and row will have unique CSS class:

* ari-tbl-row-{rowIndex} to each row, where {rowIndex} is zero-based row index;
* ari-tbl-col-{colIndex} to each column, where {colIndex} is zero-based column index.

7. Provide link to page where we can see it. It seems this is specific issue for your table or site template.

Documentation can be found in "Description" field on module settings page. Click "Detailed help here" link and popup with documentation is appeared.

PS: If you provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email and describe in details what column width (table width) do you want to use, we will be glad to help you configure the module.

Regards,
ARI Soft
