BTW, we can try to help data from articles, but in this case articles should have the same HTML layout that have possibility to parse article and select necessary fields.

CSV format provides ability to create simple spreadsheet, you can use OpenOffice application that create and edit CSV files. For example you can create CSV file on your local computer with necessary information, upload it to your server and indicate path to CSV file in "ARI Data Tables" module settings. You can article ID field to table from CSV file that associate rows in CSV file with Joomla! articles.

Joomla! can't create articles based on CSV file, but "ARI Data Tables" can show data from CSV file. You can create CSV file and articles separately and then assign CSV data with articles with column in CSV file which will contain article ID.
