TOPIC: Search engine indexing

Search engine indexing 13 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,

This is not a complaint or problem report - the module itself works excellent. I just wanted to ask for a suggestion regarding search engine indexing. I use .csv files as a source for ARI Data Tables. And it seems that the content of these .csv files are not indexed by search engines (Google), as well as by Joomla! internal site search module.

Can I make these data (loaded from .csv file to ARI Data Table) to be visible for search engines in some way?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Hello,

Search engines should index content of "ARI Data Tables". If you open HTML source of a page with the module, you can see that CSV file is rendered to HTML table.

Yes, you're right. So it seems these pages have not been indexed yet. But anyway, the internal Joomla! search doesen't "see" these pages.
OK, I'll try to investigate this, thanks for your help.

I am trying to solve a related problem. I love the aridata tables but would like to have the contents searchable in the site wide joomla search feature. How do I accomplish this
