ARI Data Tables is ready a great product!

I would want to know whether a hidden column would be searchable/ filterable. It is useful for searching "metadata"-like data without showing a long list of these data.

Moreover, one more minor problem is that when I add plugin code into an article, like {aridatatables moduleId="28"}. After saving the article, an quote (") is added at end of the code like {aridatatables moduleId="28"}". Even I changed to pure text mode of my editor (I've tried different editors too, including JCE, tinyMCE and CodeMirror), this problem was not solved.

Sorry, but the extension can't search and filter by hidden columns.

Concerning my first question, if I made last column of "metadata", is it any method to set the CSS or column width to make this column out of visible area of the table (i.e. it is apparently hidden)? As I've tried to set other column width to exceed the total width of the page, I still failed to "sneeze" the last column out of table (even I've already set the auto-width off).
