I'm looking for a datatable solution for Joomla and I need the front-end to be able to edit data (change cell content, add rows, delete rows). Does this extension have editing capabilities?

If so, where is the data written to? It would be okay if it is simply reading and writing to a database. My server will also in the background be updating the database. What happens when the database has changed, but the user tries to submit old data?

It's been a little over a 1/2 year, so I thought I'd come back and ask if the ability to edit data tables is now possible or a planned feature.

This feature doesn't support by the latest of the extension. This feature will not be available in the nearest future.

if you really want to edit, here is a great program for you to do just that .... SmartFormer Gold (SFG)

it lets you to do and create any kind of input ways, and can write into any database table however you want.

we currently have a project going on that takes the advantage of both ARI Data Table and the SFG
