hi thanks for that, it has appeared to sort it just about, i didn't realise it was a css problem, the border round the table is still wrong but i can sort that myself. thanks

hmmm, changing the border colour doesnt seem to work for some reason, im trying to change it to #333 but its not working, the header row has a thick black border where as the rest of the table has no border at all.
