These errors are not related to "ARI Data Tables" extension, but it seems some is corrupted after J! upgrade.

Hi,

I tested the module on a fresh installation of Joomla 1.7.3 FR and I get the same problem, so it seems that there is a compatibility problem since the 1.7.3 (works fine with 1.7.2).

Duno if this problem has already been reported by someone else and duno if it also occures with J 1.7.3 in UK ...

We have checked the extension under J! 1.7.3 and it works fine. Nobody has also reported about similar problem. Could you create backup of your fresh Joomla! installation where the problem occurs with help AkeebaBackup extension and send it by email so we can investigate the problem?

It may be simplier to do what I did :

Download the french version of J173 here:

aide.joomla.fr/telechargements/joomla-1-7-package-d-installation-et-patchs/joomla-1-7-3-edition-francophone/download

and just install the ARI Data Tables over.

In my case I got the problem in this situation.

We download and installed Joomla!, after this we install and enabled "ARI Extensions" plugin and then install "ARI Data Tables" module. Configured module and open module settings page again. All settings are shown fine.

Ok, just to be sure you tested it in the same situation as I

Did you created an external DB type, odbc for instance and defined an sql query, the problem only occures when you re-open the module, the DB type is then set to Joomla database and the SQL query field is empty.
