I just bought your module because it should do what I want it to - but I'm not fluent in SQL/PHP so I'm a bit stuck.

This is what I would like to achieve:

My current non-Joomla site has this at it's core - hardcorewillneverdie.com/archive.php . The coding is functional at best but it works!

Can I replicate this function using Data Tables, I'm assuming I can but don't know how to achieve it.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated (apologies for my inexperience!)

Do you want to convert a plain HTML table to "ARI Data Table" or show data from a database or a CSV file?

Show data from an existing MySQL database.

My host is running MySQL 5.0.91

I've attached the php code I'm using to run the table at the moment (if that helps at all)

If you want to show data from a table from Joomla! database, set "Choose table type" parameter to "ARI Data Table", "ARI Data Table -> Use jQuery UI" to "Yes", "Choose source type" to "SQL" and enter an SELECT SQL query in "SQL -> SQL query" parameter.
