TOPIC: Request variable as search term?
#31656
Re:Request variable as search term? 12 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
I can't get this feature to work. Here is what I've done:

In the "Default Search String" field in the module settings I have set to: {$REQUEST:postedsearch}

In my link to the page I have as follows:
logochairs.com/more-information/web-images&postedsearch=tent

This takes me to an error 404 page, unless I remove the "&postedsearch=tent" from the link.

Any ideas?

Your link is incorrect, use the following link:

Code:

http://logochairs.com/more-information/web-images?postedsearch=tent

Perfect. I have learned alot. But this software is outstanding. I'm finding that nothing is impossible.

Funny thing - I bought this extension yesterday. I got version 1.6 not 1.10... How can I download upgrade? Could you put any link here?
