You know, I've actually used datatables before... really cool extension. However, right now i have a specific need for some calculations. What I'm doing is a sort of a pricing table, and I need it to calculate totals of options selected. I know I could so it serverside in the db, but seems silly for this simple need since DT has powerful functions. Any quick tips?I guess I could just go get some examples off Alans site....

So I'll have cols and rows with options, which will have some values. the user will make selections and datatables should calculate and and display totals?

Tips? and example?

Hmm, OK. Well, then I guess I could just do it serverside... send some Json... and call a php script, but shouldn't I be able to just do what I used to do...the configuration you have is quite familiar (outside of Joomla of course). I'd appreciate any comments you might make, and I promise not to ask for help or even discuss it further so as not to encourage others.
Next, I hope that you have plans to add more of the native functionality of Datatables in a later release.
