Using the latest version, I have set themes, but they are not displaying.

Is the ARI Data Table code being overwritten by the TP CSS!

Set "Choose table type -> ARI Data Table -> Using jQuery UI themes" parameter to "Yes".

One other question. Is there a way I can reduce the height of the Top row (where the search box is)and the height of the search box please?

Add the following CSS rules to "CSS Styles" parameter in module settings:

.dataTables_filter INPUT
{
line-height: 20px;
height: 20px;
}
