I would like to create a search box to search by: (user will select by which column he likes to search by). How I imagine it is, instead of having a text box field in the search box, have a drop down box, where user can select which column to search by.

I looked into it. It looks like it can do what I want, but Im kind of confused how to integrate it with ari data tables. Can you please help me which files I should look at, cause there is no installation program so it install automatically. I need help for installing this plug in.

It requires to modify the extension. See <joomla_directory>\modules\mod_aridatatables\includes\kernel\DataTables\Models\class.DataTablesWidgetDatatableModel.php file.

Thanks. I assume I insert the code that is given in the JQuery DataTable Column Filter web page. I then have to go in and insert html code so it will display the proper columns. Where is the html file saved so I can go and modify that also? I have 3 different tables, therefore have created 3 different aridatatable modules. Each displays other columns and information. I appreciate your help. Im not a pro in programming but I try.

Javascript for DataTable widget is generated in the file from previous post. See "initClientInstance" method.
