I have installed the AriDataTables module and plugins in a Joomla 2.5 installation as detailed in the readme file.

I have read the instructions provided in the module popup.

So far as they go I have experiemented and get the data from the table and display the column headings.

But that is it - no sorting, no filter, etc and no way to specify them?

The blurb for Ari Data Tables states:

•Provides a variety of widgets to display data: ARI Data Table, ARI Table Sorter, ARI Data Visualiser, ARI GChart, ARI MooTable, ARI Tiny Table;
•Adds filter, sorting, paging functionality to table;

Where are these widgets to be found and how do I enable them?

I read various suggestions in your form postings but cannot find
settings in the Ari data table module to correspond with that I read.


Have I got something different from what you are discussing?

Hello,

You can choose a table widget in "Choose table type" drop-down in module settings. For example set it to "ARI Data Table". If it doesn't help, provide a link to a page where we can see the problem. It can be a conflict with a 3rd party extension.

Read our previous post please. Set "Choose table type" parameter to "ARI Data Table".

That solves that problem - I will experiment some more - I am sure I will have more questions, but so far so good!
