Basic Import of Data 11 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I have uploaded all the extensions to Joomla and enabled everything. I'm having trouble with the basic import. I saved a new table in PhpMyAdmin with my data of interest, but I don't know what it means when it says SqlQuery when working in the module. Can I have a csv file saved to my computer that Datatables pulls from? If so how, do I set that up.

Hello,

If you want to show data from a CSV file, upload the file to your server, set "Choose source type" parameter to "CSV" in module settings and enter path to the CSV file in "CSV -> File path" parameter.

I uploaded my csv titled aritable.csv to the following folder via Filezilla.

public_html/libraries/joomla/Test/aritable.csv

When inserting the link, into the "Path to CSV file," I have tried every combination including:

Test/aritable.csv
public_html/libraries/joomla/Test/aritable.csv
ftp://gwc383@ftp.tvfantasyleague.com/public_html/libraries/joomla/TreyTest/testari.csv

It still says that no data is available.

Thanks

If Joomla! is located in "public_html" folder, use the following path in "CSV -> File path" parameter:

libraries/joomla/Test/aritable.csv

How do I know if my data loaded. I believe I am having trouble with the path.
