Hi,

ARIDataTables is working great for my website application. As I expand my database that feeds the extension one question arises. Is there a way to limit the amount of data that the extension displays? For example, in my case it is possible the extension will return over 1000 records. I would like to place a limit of say 100 records to force the user to narrow down his search criteria. Is this even possible? If not, is this something you might consider adding in the future? A simple setting that defaults to unlimited but can be set to a limiting number of records displayed. Thanks in advance.

The LIMIT added to the SQL query worked great. Sorry, I should have known to use that myself.

Sorry to go back to an older post, but one more question. Do you know of a way with ARI DataTables to know or flag whether the LIMIT on data returned was actually hit?

I know how to capture this using the SQL query itself, but how do I get that either displayed or passed back out to the article the table is displayed in in order to display some text like "results limited to the first 25 results".
