Exporting ARI DataTable to CSV 10 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I have found and reviewed your help explaining how to export data from an ARI DataTable to CSV. Here is where your post was,

www.ari-soft.com/ARI-Data-Tables/41357-Where-is-documentation-for-Data-Tables-product.html#41359

and here is what it indicates,

"ARI Data Table" can export data to CSV. For this set "Choose table type -> ARI Data Table -> Show export buttons" parameter to "Yes".

Is there a way to have the same buttons without formatting as an ARI DataTable? I simply need to add a simple button to export the results shown in the table to a CSV file. Thanks.

Hello,

Export buttons are show by a Flash addon for "DataTable" plugin. It is not possible to use another buttons.

Ok, thank you. I can work around this by using an additional ARI DataTable module that uses the table type "ARI Data Table" and setting its CSV button to YES. I was just looking to see if there happened to be an easier or cleaner way. Right now each web report page has 2 modules, one for the CHART with table and a second for the roll-up of the table totals. I will try first by adjusting these two existing modules and worse case by adding a third.
