I am using clean joomla instalation and latest version of ARI DataTables. I have problems connecting to SQL- External database and simple HTML table.
My first problem is that when I enter settings in module (Extensions - Module Manager) and save them, when I open it again, it is empty - like that it does not save any settings.
Is somewhere good step-by-step tutorial how to configure module to show simple data retrived from MySQL table?

If the parameters are not saved, check that "System - ARI Extensions" plugin is installed and enabled.

Hi,

Extension is installed and enabled. I changed "Fix Joomla! cache issue" from "No" to "Yes", but it is same issue. I loose all settings when Save&Close and open module again.

Could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem?

Thank you for fast replay. At the end, issue was on hosting provider side, as admin sugested:
It seems this is a problem with web server configuration. Web server skips request when administrator tries to save settings. We suppose it can be a problem with configuration of mod_security Apache module (probably it has a limit of number POST variables or another restriction). Contact hosting support so they check it (because we don't have access to configuration of web server).
