Hi,

I just noticed a strange error with my site backend that only seems to affect my ARI DataTables modules, of which there are many. I recently upgraded to 1.14.0 but I do not believe this error relates to this version. Let me describe.

When I login to the backend all is good. I only see a problem when I use the Module Manager to edit any one of my ARI Data Table modules. It looks very different, not like the normal JOOMLA interface. Almost like it is text only, and none of the normal buttons (SAVE, SAVE CLOSE, etc.) and selectors (ACCESS, etc.) are even present.

I also noticed this error at the very bottom of the opened module page,

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JFormFieldColor in /home/effo2961/public_html/Sim-X.net/libraries/joomla/form/fields/color.php on line 264

To me this looks like a conflict of some kind. I will check my color.php file, but you ever seen this type error before? If so, any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

Editing my ARI DataTables modules is a key and critical part of my site, and right now I cannot. Thank you.

Hello,

Delete <joomla_directory>\modules\mod_aridatatables\includes\fields\color.php file. We will fix this problem in the next version of the extension. It occurs in Joomla! 3.3.x.

Ok, I will try that. However, I am not using Joomla 3.3.x yet, i am still using 3.2.3. I tested 3.3 on my test site but it has an error that locked me completely out of my Joomla admin panel, so I could not use. I am waiting for that error to be fixed, so I am still on Joomla 3.2.3.

It fixed the problem, even though I am not using Joomla 3.3 yet, thank you very much.

"ARI Data Tables" v. 1.14.1 contains the fix for this problem.
