Hi. Everytime I publish the module, where the Arichart supposed to be, the page goes blank.

I'll guess the problem has to do with the template an arichart working together, I believe there such be a fix for this.

the message I get from joomla is:

Notice: Undefined variable: gantry in /home6/twodmxor/public_html/corazonacorazon/templates/rt_anacron/error.php on line 15

Can Anybody Help me? I opened a thread about it, but to be honest, I got a Jerks Answer about it

The error occurs in your site template:



It can show Joomla! error. Joomla! which causes this error occurs because you select to show data from a database in "ARI Data Tables" module settings, but don't specify an SQL query in "SQL -> SQL query" parameter. Query is used to select data from a database.

If you to show data from a CSV file, you can use the sample CSV file which comes with the extension. For this set "Choose source type" parameter to "CSV" value and populate "CSV -> Path to CSV file" parameter with the following value:

modules\mod_aridatatables\samples\visualizer.csv

Data from the sample CSV file can be also used for charts

A blank page appears because a Joomla! error occurs due to "Choose source type" parameter is set to "SQL" in module settings, but an SQL query is not specified in "SQL -> SQL query" parameter. You don't see an error due to a bug in site template.

Enter an SQL query in "SQL -> SQL query" parameter in "ARI Data Tables" module settings to avoid the error and see the table. For example you can enter the following query:

SELECT
id,
title
FROM
#__content

It will show id and titles for articles which are created in your Joomla! system.

If you want to show a graph based on data from CSV (it is also possible for data from a database, but it should be formatted properly for charts), you can use the sample CSV file which comes with the extension. For this set "Choose source type" parameter to "CSV" value and populate "CSV -> Path to CSV file" parameter with the following value:

modules\mod_aridatatables\samples\visualizer.csv

I simply cannot resist the urge to write something here.

1st - I'm using this module on several websites with Rocket Theme templates and it works without problem

2nd - IMHO, AriSoft support is awesome. Just look at their previous posts where they help with all sorts of custom mysql queries, which is actually outside from usual support scope. They helped me as well, in several occasions.

3rd, In this case, they replied with actual answer, and you still vented out with your sarcastic reply, and they replied again.

But you did not even bother to say "Thank You".
