connection to oracle db 9 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello everyone. I write on the forum to look for someone who can help me to solve my problem.
I have a webserver (joomla site) on a machine redhat6. 192.168.XXX.XXX and I try to connect to an oracle db on a server 192.168.XXX.XXX. I make a premise that use the module to a mysql db and everything works properly. But if I try to connect to an oracle db does not work.
.

I get two error (ARI Data Tables: Could not connect to external databases.) Very generic error. but if you start to debug the site I get the following message:

Warning: odbc_connect (): SQL error: [unixODBC] [Driver Manager] Data source name not found, and no default driver specified, SQL been IM002
in SQLConnect in/var/www/XXXXXX/modules/mod_aridatatables/includes/kernel/DB/ADODBLite/adodbSQL_drivers/odbc/odbc_driver.inc on line 42

Hello,

It seems an ODBC source is not registered on web server.

Thank you for having responded to me. I can not understand ... you could be more specific on the checks that I have to check on my webserver?
