Hi,

Im having problems with both CSV imports and SQL connections, I know its not the addin its me but trying to diagnose it is a bit difficult.

How do I find the exact directory to store the CSV the url for my site (internally as an intranet) is:

http:\\intranet

The article url is

intranet/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=23

a working link is

intranet/images/Documents/TestExcelDocument.xlsx

If I add the .csv to images/Documents/testcsv.csv I just get the article header.

If I try and connect to an SQL DB I get the same but cant diagnose why.

Any ideas please? Thanks

You can set "Choose source type -> SQL -> Debug" parameter to "Yes" to find a problem with DB connection.

About CSV files, the extension doesn't support ability to show data from MS Excel files (.xlsx). It can show data from CSV files. If file is located in Joomla! sub-folder, use the following value for "CSV -> Path to CSV file" parameter:

images/Documents/testcsv.csv

Check that the path is correct (it is case-sensitive). If it doesn't help, could you send screenshot(s) of module settings page and CSV file by email?

Apologies I put .xlsx instead of csv the document is csv. I have sent you screenshots of the setup which as far as I can see replicates that of the demonstration video.
