first of all, please excuse my bad englisch. School is 20 years ago.
I bought ARI Data Tables to let my customers search for their transport costs.
They type in their zip code and see the prices for specific transports.
F.e.:
zip price1 price2
25596 189 242
14242 229 280

The should type in their zip code to see the price. But if they type in "242" f.e., they find both rows because this number is also in the prices.
So, is their a possibility just to seach for the zip code?

The extension searches by all columns, it doesn't support ability to mark some columns as non-searchable, but this feature is supported by Data Tables add-on from ARI Smart Content extension.

I thought it is just a collection of many applications und ARI Data Tables would be a part of it.

"ARI Smart Content" provides own eco-system for addons and it is possible to use database, CSV files, images, Joomla! articles, K2 items, Flickr images and etc. as data sources and use these data sources by different applications from the extension. We can change subscription form "ARI Data Tables" to "ARI Smart Content" extension. If you are interested in it, we can discuss details by email.
