I installed Ari DataTables and I am trying to get it to work.

I created a module and an article with a line of text and {aridatatables moduleid=”321”}{/aridatatables} in it.

When I access the article on the website, all I get is the line of text. No table. No error messages.

The table is from an external SQL database.

I checked the SQL select statement, even simplified it to "SELECT * from publications", yet still no table is displayed.

I checked the connection info. It is correct (other parts of my site use this connection to retrieve data.)

How can I figure out why it is not working?

The correct shortcode is:

{aridatatables moduleId="321"}{/aridatatables}

it should be moduleId (I in uppercase) instead of moduleid. Check that the module is enabled.
