TOPIC: Using ARI Data Tables with Joomla!5 and YOOtheme

Using ARI Data Tables with Joomla!5 and YOOtheme 9 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello everyone

I have been working with ARI Soft products for more than 10 years and I think they are fantastic. I am especially excited that ARI Data Tables are now available for Joomla!5.

But I have a few questions:
1. is there anything special I need to consider when using Joomla!5 and YOOtheme?
2. why does the integration of ARI Data Tables in an article not work? See: j5.ghgo.ch/tab-csv
3. how can I translate the fixed texts (marked in the attachment ARI-Data-Table-CSV-FixText.png)? Do I have to create language overrides?
4. the sorting with umlauts äöüÄÖÜ (Appendix ARI-Data-Table-CSV-SpecialSort.png) works incorrectly. What else do I have to code?

Is there any further documentation - apart from this info I have not found anything: www.ari-soft.com/Joomla-Components/ARI-Data-Tables/Detailed-product-flyer.html

Best regards from Switzerland
Heinz

Hello,

1. We don't know any problems with YOOtheme templates.

2. "Content - ARI Data Tables" plugin was removed from J4/J5 package. Use Content - Load Modules standard Joomla! plugin to embed modules into articles:

Code:

{loadmoduleid 114}

3. All such labels are defined in language INI file. You can override it or create a new one for another language.

4. We will check it.

Regards,
ARI Soft

Update the extension to v. 2.0.5 please. It should help to resolve the problem with umlauts.

Please let me come back to this point.

Within the folder 'modules/mod_aridatatables/includes/js/widgets/datatable/language' is an existing language file de_DE.txt which contains the translations I would show on the screen. But where and how can I change to this language file for ARI Data Tables? Where can I select this language?

Regards
Heinz
