Ampersand issue with backend URL 11 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
i have a problem with the Ampersands in joomla backend, for example:

When the url should be like this:
Code:

/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&task=item.edit&id=435

it changes it to:

Code:

 administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&amp ;view=item&layout=edit&id=435

I found out that it was related with the System - ARI Docs Viewer Plugin, when i desactivated it theres no problem with Ampersands in url and i can edit everything in backend.

the Plugins looks good and i would like to use it on my website

Any Advice

Best Regards

Hello, the problem is when I try to add or edit article, edit plugins, edit menus, when i hit Apply or Save, every url changes from redirected from non-amp to &amp url.

For Example I wish to edit a menu item, the url normally would be like this

Code:

http://www.xxxxxx.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&task=item.edit&id=435

But when I hit the menu item the url changes to:

Code:

http://www.xxxxxx.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&amp ;view=item&amp ;layout=edit&id=435

That only happens when the plugin is active

We can't reproduce the problem. It can be a conflict with a 3rd party extension.

We can investigate the problem in more details if you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email.
