I'm trying to display an Excel spreadsheet embedded into a Joomla article

The spreadsheet doc is stored in our Dropbox online store.
The ARI embed option is set to Google Docs.
All that shows is the spreadsheet coding, not the spreadsheet itself
Any suggestions ?

It looks like a problem with link to document. It is not possible to load the document directly from Dropbox.

The same problem shows when I use my Google Docs stored files :

Use a direct link to Excel document. For example upload it to your site and specify the link in {aridoc} shortcode. Currently you use a link to edit page on Google Docs.

If I could first explain the scenario, you can then advise me if your product can be configured to work for me :

I am a 1-man consultant providing website design, management and hosting services to my customers.

Some of my customers are in the Equine Events sector and need their Judges and Officials to enter data in real time into secure shared spreadsheet documents stored in ‘ the Cloud ‘ for ease of access.

Simple shared links ( allowing read only, no downloading or editing ) to these documents are then displayed on their websites so that their competitors ( not usually computer literate ) can keep up to date with the Running Orders / Scores / Results etc. on their smart phones etc.

I currently use a system based on storing the documents on the Google+ service ( which works well ), but as this is being discontinued in March, I need to find a solution soon.

Can you advise me how to proceed if I choose your product solution. I’m happy to use a version which is commercially charged for – just as long as it works !
