Add it to menu.min.css file or to site template CSS file or to "CSS Styles" parameter in module settings.

I have tried both of these solutions and it still doesn't work. My submenus go under a slideshow I have on the page:

www.sdst.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=140&Itemid=173

They look fine at first, but after the photo changes, the menus are hidden.

OK, I have now added this to menu.css, menu.min.css the template.css and in the CSS Styles parameter with no joy.

Can you offer any further advise?

I have been using Chrome so just checked this with Firefox and Opera and the fix you suggested has worked. It just seems to be Google Chrome.
