trouble with the simplest of changes 13 Years, 9 Months ago

I'm having trouble with the simplest of changes. The site I'm working on is www.music.mackabeez.com

I was able to change the width of the menu by adding: .ux-menu li {width:170px;}

But I can't figure out how to change any font colors. I tried: .ux-menu a {color: #000;} and a host of other variations but nothing changed.

Also the last link 'contact' is a different color for some reason... ???

I really like the basic functionality but if I can't figure out how to customize it then I can't use it.

Any one have any ideas of what I'm missing or doing wrong?
