I have uploaded the ari ext menu .zip file using my Joomla 1.6 extension manager.

But I cannot find any new features that can do dropdown menu.

Or I should ask where to look for ari ext menu features after installation.

Hello,

Specify in more details what problem you have? You don't see module parameters on module settings or mean something another? BTW, the module doesn't create menu items, it is created in Joomla! menu manager. The module provides ability to choose existing menu and show it.

Yes, I do see ARI Ext Menu listed in Extension Manager screen and is 'enabled'.

Refer to your link, when you mentioned configure the position, how or where to configure because I don't see any button or place for editing.

So far, I cannot see the sub-level in my left side menu screen. Instead it was displayed in the right side of the screen.

Open "Menus -> Menu Manager -> Add New Menu" page on Joomla! backend if you want to create new menu or "Menus -> MENU_NAME" if you want to use existing menu. Create necessary menu items using Joomla! menu manager then open module settings page and choose menu which you want to show in "Menu name" drop-down:
