Hi, I have exactly the same problem. The menu was looking and working great until i realised that when you login the user cannot see the new menu item.

I have been trying to figure it out for 2 days now. I am so pleased i found this post.

I am actually building the site locally, and thought it might have been a problem. Is it possible to tell me how to fix the problem, or could you send me an updated file that would fix the bug?
