Hello.

I want my menu submenu to have a z-index inferior to my main menu, so that when it slides in, it is partially behind the main menu. Also, when it is showing, I want it to be partially behind the main menu.

I've been playing arround with the z-index, but without success. I tried to give a z-index of the main UL superior to the submenu's UL, but it doesn't work, and the "position:relative" seems to mess up the main menu when the submenu is showing.

Can anyone help me with this.

Sorry, but it seems the menu can't look like on your screenshot. It requires custom modification. Information about menu HTML layout and CSS classed can be found here. It should be useful if you want to customize the menu.
