I know I hate ie8 as well!

Howeer I noticed that on:

www.512agent.com
www.nataliesellsaustin.com

Both websites upon mouseover the submenu dropdowns seems to go away intermittently (while you are moving your mouse up and down the menu).

I have been trying to see what similarities these sites have that IE8 would trigger and I assume its the image fading in the background.

However I cannot remove those modules, do you have any ideas?

Sorry, but we can't reproduce described problem. If it occurs on your side, you can use "Developer Tools" that investigate the problem. For this press F12 in IE browser.

That is strange you cannot replicate the problem, I have had 2 phone calls about it from clients plus I also see it happening on my computer as well.

The issue is with ie8 only.

Ill post more info if i can find a way to replicate it easier.

Anyone ever figure this out? It's a pure IE8 issue; it doesn't occur with IE9 in IE8 mode. I just confirmed by using a fresh Win7 install and checking with the packaged IE8.

It seems if your mouse pauses for too long (milliseconds) on a space in the menu other than the link text, the submenu reverts to display:none;

An actual IE8 installation is required to reproduce this. Even though IE9 has been out for a while now IE8 is still largely used since IE9 cannot install on XP.

since most the world is still on XP and can only get up to IE8, I think this is kind of important since it basically renders the menu useless...so..... -bump-

Hello,

The menu works fine on our demo site in all modern browsers including IE 6 - 9. In your case it can be a conflict with a 3rd party extension or site template.
