Instead of doing this:
.sp-module .ux-menu-container ul > li > a::before {content:""}


Change it to this:
.sp-module .ux-menu-container ul > li > a::before {display: none;}

Adding "display: none;" will remove it from view.
Adding just "content: "";" will remove the content but its space will still be rendered.



To level the li-items there, remove the borders around the "Portfolio" and "Equipment" links by adding this:

UL#ariext161 LI A {background: #fff; border: 0 none !important;}
