TOPIC: How to choose

How to choose 13 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I am quite a newbie and downloaded you extension. Checked on the forum how to make it work but do not understand it very well (sorry)

checked the following answer you gave on the forum

"open 'Extensions -> Module Manager' page on Joomla! backend, click by 'ARI Ext Menu' link in modules data grid, configure it, choose position in 'Position:' drop-down, enable and save it. After this the module should appear on the site in selected module position."

Question is: how to configure it. I am not able to “choose” as you say. Does that mean I have to type it in myself?

Thanks.

Hello,

Do you have a problem with choosing module position?

Hi,

thanks for coming back so quickly. I do not know what you mean by "module position". I know that I cannot see the menu in my template. I guess the question is "how to activate the menu/extension?" I am just trying it out and using 1.7. so if you think I should use a different template please let me know. But I would have thought it works on all templates. Right?

The extension doesn't depend on site template, but any Joomla! module requires to choose appropriate site template module position. Module positions are placeholders provided by site template where module(s) will be loaded.
