AriExtMenu didn't translate to the new 1.7 site. 13 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi, I'm redesigning a site for somebody and I'm a complete Joomla newbie. the person that was sort of redesigning the site and is no longer involved used your AriExtMenu as you can see here. dailyhoroscopes.com/dev2_dmcd/

Well, I migrated the site to 1.7 and am using a new template which I created. I admit I'm learning as I go, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get the AriExtMenu to work on the new site which is here digitaldemiurge.com/joomla/dailyhoroscopes/

I did download the version for 1.6-1.7 and installed it, so I know that part is correct.

When I look at his site, I try and mimic what he has with what is in 1.7, but the menus are very different from 1.5.

I hope you can help. I'm not sure if it's just something I don't have turned on, or pointing correctly. Or if it's simply a css rule or html code.

Hello,

We can investigate an issue if you provide temporary access to your J! backend by email.

"dropdown" module position is not supported by your site template. You can see available module positions by this link.
