I'm using joomla 1.5.23 and Ari Ext Menu.
Some of my submenus needed to be in a left module. I choose to link the main menu to a module containing that left menu. Since they are not defined as parent/child when I click on the parent it doesnt stay selected.

How can I work around this? Is there a way to say that on that page that parent menu must stay selected? Or I have to use parent/child assignment? If so, how to do it.

Hello,

Do you want to hightlight "Binova" or "Santos" menu item if it is selected? If yes, set "Hightlight current menu item" parameter to "Yes".

I have it set to "Yes".
I guess the problem resides in not having the binova items as child of binova menu. I tryed that way but then I couldnt put it in the left module.
Right now i have set the binova menu as a Alias link to the first item of the left menu.

Can you tell me how to define that menu items as submenu of binova and have it shown in a diferent module?

Create sub-childs in menu where "Binova" and "Santos" menu items are located. Menu module provides ability to define start and end level for menu items which should be shown. You can use this ability.
