TOPIC: Sub menus

Again, I am sorry to report that this code has no effect on the menu width. I played with the width parameter, and it had no effect. I must be using the code wrong or something. I will e-mail you the back-end access.
Thanks for responding,

It works beautifully. I also adjusted the level 1 menu width. A couple final questions. What's the easiest way to color the module background using #545353? There will be only one instance of this module on the site. Second, will the CSS window also take code, for example, to make the menu fields have rounded corners?
By the way, what was I doing wrong? So that I need not bother you again.
Thanks so much,

And, how do I change the arrow from blue to white in the starting level of the menu? The current blue does not pop out against the black background. I want to replicate the color scheme of the main menu. The program seems to be relating back to a file called moor_arrows.gif. Is this in fact the image, and how do I control which color is applied to it?

You used unnecessary [ code ] and [/ code ] tags.

Menu arrow is an image and it is located by the next path:

<joomla_directory>/modules/mod_ariextmenu/mod_ariextmenu/js/css/images/menu-arrow-right.png

You can modify it for your needs.

Menu items background color can be configured in module settings.

Regarding the arrow, I will look in the file indicated. Regarding the custom color, I want to apply it to the module wrapper, overriding the default pearl white (which apparently comes from the JA Social template wrapper). I have pretty much mastered manipulating the colors in the menu items themselves across multiple levels. This is another, separate issue. I am referring to the background field behind the menu within the Joomla module. My design goal is to turn it a gun-metal black, just like the color scheme of the top panel of the site. I assume this will have to be done with a class suffix? There doesn't seem to be a field for it in the module controls.
I am very impressed overall and wrote up a nice Joomla review recently.
