Sub menus dissapear behind borders and content 12 Years, 8 Months ago

Greetings, i have a very common issue with sub menus going behind stuff or simply not showing when hitting the border or content.

I know you need to add some sort of CSS rule, but i dont know where to add it, since im not that good with coding.

Can someone please explain where do i add this rule to?

Im using joomla 1.7.1 and beez5 template.
