It was a problem with the menu. "sublevel" field was set incorrectly in database. Do you created menu items manually after installing Joomla! ?

No.
I installed Joomla 1.5 without example content. Then I ran the official Joomla 1.0 migration script on the old Joomla 1.0 site, and imported content and menus from that script.

Same problem here. Joomla 1.7, viewing it under firefox 6 / linux.
Could you please post the solution. It is a clean install and there are not other modules I believe that could interfere.
