Well, we use the ARI Ext Menu module as our Top Menu.

It is not true. Site template default menu is used on provided page. Probably you assign "ARI Ext Menu" to incorrect module position. Available module positions can be viewed by this link.

Okay, where the menu is it says "raw outline" and that position isn't available when I'm logged into the administrator backend. What do I do?

Contact site template developers and ask them support their template ability to load module(s) into necessary position.

Alright, we moved the Ari Ext Menu module into the top position, but it isn't spreading across the entire top. Instead, it is collapsing into what seems like a square. We are also unable to see submenu items. Help?
