Looking further, we do need to include the full path indeed instead of a relative path in this case. Thanks for taking the time to look into this. JM

We suppose it is possible to include relative path, but it requires to fix <base> tag which is generated by Joomla! when SEF is enabled. Regards, ARI Soft

In fact it is not possible in this case as the path is defined in the xml which itself is only loaded through the swf and requires a specific formatting. My test in the link above does now works OK. info-graf.fr/infografcvs/poesie/poetes-chantants.html In the other instances of the player when directly loading mp3 we do use $LiveSite = JURI::base(); Thanks again
