I am having similar problem, but happens on both Google Chrome and IE9. I am testing out using the Cloud Base 2.0 template. I've turned off the template menu and added the ARI Ext Menu module in the header, but no dropdown sub menus. If I place it in another section, I can see the sub menus underneath the section coming up.

ok what I did was to make menu bigger by adding more text "Irrigation systems" and now goes over.
