I'm also unable to get the submenu to work.
I've tried the solutions in the forum but they won't work for me, the submenu items simply won't show up.

I'm using Joomla 2.5.

Hello,

This problem with site template styles. Add the next CSS rules to "CSS Styles" parameter in module settings:

#menu ul.ux-menu li ul li 
{
 display: block;
 visibility: visible;
}

#menu ul.ux-menu li ul.ux-menu-hidden li 
{
 display: none;
 visibility: hidden;
}

What browser do you use? Sub-menu are shown fine in FireFox.
