Basic Install question 12 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I've just recently started using Joomla! and have been looking for a menu system that supports dropdown menus. Several forums pointed me to ARI Ext menu. I downloaded and installed the zip file using the extension manager. I'm now at a loss as to where the module went as I can not find it in the module manager. Can anyone help out a newbie with this basic install question. I'd also like to read any documentation on the product so I can try to solve issues myself. Is there any good docs out there on this product? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the post. I did come across this post and I guess that's my problem. The instructions say:

That assign a module to necessary position, open 'Extensions -> Module Manager' page on Joomla! backend, click by 'ARI Ext Menu' link in modules data grid, configure it, choose position in 'Position:' drop-down, enable and save it. After this the module should appear on the site in selected module position.

I don't have that link to Ari Ext in my module manager. I do see it when I go to extension manager > manage.

Any ideas why it's not showing up in the module manager?

PS.
I guess I should mention I'm using Joomla 2.5

I did as you suggested and there was a dropdown menu item called Ari ext Menu but when I selected it I got an error:
