Submenu - start level problem 12 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
HI,
at first I have to say that I just love this menu - it's avesome! But there is one big problem that stops me from using it at one of my pages - there is a problem with submenu start level.
I have main menu:

L1
----L2.1
----L2.2
--------L3.1
--------L3.2
--------L3.3
----L2.3
----L2.4
--------L3.4
--------L3.5

If I set Start level to 3 I expect module to display only
--------L3.1
--------L3.2
--------L3.3
when I am in L2.2 and only
--------L3.4
--------L3.5
when i am in L2.4

But module ALWAYS displays everything:
--------L3.1
--------L3.2
--------L3.3
--------L3.4
--------L3.5

Builtin menu works as it should, but Ari ExtMenu shows every position at 3. level.
Please - help me because I don't want to stop using this menu.

Hello,

Set "Show only active sub-menus" parameter to "Yes".

Wow! what a quick answer
Thanks a lot! That is exactly what I meant.

I just thought that this parameter is similar to sort of accordeon menu (that shows only active part and hides everything else).
Anyway, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I've been too euphoric

There still is one problem - menu generates too deep links. If I am at higher level it shows menu items from ALL sublevel items.. Original Joomla! menu generates links only to items directly connected with current item. (check attached pictures )

Is it possible to change this behaviour? (if not in your official release then just please tell me how)

The module is open source and you can modify it for your needs.
