TOPIC: Click on Main Menu item on mobile (iphone/ipad)

Click on Main Menu item on mobile (iphone/ipad) 11 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I created a dropdown menu with the ARI Ext Menu. Everything works fine but this detail:
on a mobile device (Android, iPhone, iPad) I cannot click on a main-menu item. It only works that way that on the first tap it opens the drop down menu but on the second tap it just closes it but does not link to the specified page.

On a non-mobile device it works at attended (on hover show the menu, on click go to the page). Other menus I saw also work the way I was expecting it (first tap: show menu, second tap, follow link).

Is this is a known problem and is there some plan to change this behaviour ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hubert

Hello,

Currently the module show/hide sub-menus when click by parent menu on mobile devices. It doesn't use menu items with sub-menus as a link. We will extend this functionality in a future release.

Yes, please develop it as soon as you can ... it seems the world is going mobile, and I love the ARI Ext Menu!

I have just finished a site with no mention of mobile compatibility, and the first thing the customer said was "The menus won't work on my iPhone."
