TOPIC: Dropdown submenu display positioning

Dropdown submenu display positioning 11 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I created an ARI Ext Menu as a Top menu. Say for example one of the Top menu items is named "Safari Animals" and a dropdown submenu is named "Monkey". I can't get Monkey to alight to the right under Safari Animals. To illustrate the problem, I'm stuck with the display..

----------------
Safari Animals
----------------
Monkey
--------

when what I want is

----------------
Safari Animals
----------------
Monkey
--------

In this way I want a submenu with a shorter name to drop to the right and not to the left. On my site it looks terrible dropped to the left.

Hope the formatting of my illustration remains clear, and that this issue can somehow be resolved by CSS.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The module doesn't provide ability to show sub-menus right-aligned.

Ok if you open this post then the formatting is lost and you can't see my illustration clearly. However if you don't open the post and just hover over it without clicking on it, then an intelligent hover quick-display shows a preview of my message and this preview demonstrates the alignment problem.

I just saw your reply. Thanks.

Can I specify the submenu item to be the exact same width as the top menu item? This would resolve the problem.

You can read how to specify width for specific menu item here. Information about menu HTML layout and CSS classes can be found here.
