I've installed ARI Ext Menu 2.2.3 on Joomla 2.5.9 (with default theme).

After configuring on which pages it is to be shown and in which position (now position-2) I see this (see the attached image for a screenshot containing the menu):

community.endofgospel.org/

The menu is displayed without any CSS.

How to make it work?

Hello,

"ARI Ext Menu" CSS and javascript files can't be loaded. 403 HTTP error occurs. Check that files in <joomla_directory>/modules/mod_ariextmenu/ folder have appropriate permissions.

The commands

$ less /var/www/community/web/modules/mod_ariextmenu/mod_ariextmenu/js/menu.min.js

and

$ less /var/www/community/web/modules/mod_ariextmenu/mod_ariextmenu/js/css/menu.min.css

work and did not generate any errors (being run from the same user as PHP.

Afterward I have ran:

# chmod -R a+rX /var/www/community/web/modules/mod_ariextmenu

Now the menu seems to work. Weird.

P.S. Make permissions in your archives correct.
